Cannot Extract Files when the Extract has been Canceled before

Nov 4, 2011 at 10:05 AM

I'm using DotNetZip (Ionic.Zip.dll) in my current program. Most things work perfectly well - thanks.

But now I encountered a Problem. I allow users to extract files via my program. Hereby I also have a Cancel-Button which sets

e.Cancel to true in the ExtractProgressEvent. When the extract process is started thereafter there are no files extracted at all.

I looked in the source code and found out that this is due to the fact that _extractOperationCanceled is never resetted.

Why is that so? Further operations must not always be canceled simply because one operation has been canceled before!

Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

Regards, Stefan

Sounds like a bug in DotNetZip.  I've filed a workitem, and we'll get that fixed.
