I have created a self-extracting exe using the SelfExtractorFlavor.WinFormsApplication flavor but when we double click this exe a console window comes up.

Is there any way using which i can avoid the console window to come up? I need the window that displays the progress bar, it is just the console window that i do not want to show.

Also is there any way to change the default icon of the generated exe. I want to specify a custom icon for the self-extracting exe.

Yes, using the v1.9 library you can set the icon, and the WinForms SFX does not cause a console window to appear.

What version of the library are you using?

Thanks for your reply.

I am using the v1.6 of the library. Now i 'll try the new version and verify if the console problem still exists.

Thanks again.
