Encrypting .ZIP to a different file format

I have requirement like after creating the zip file using DotnetZip, i have to encrypt the zip file and add my own file extension to it. So that user does not know that it is zip file and it should not work if he tries to open it or if he tries to change the file format to zip

I use this encrypted file and extract it later if i need it, by decrypting it and renaming it to .zip file.

Is this possible to do this using DotNetZip library?  i suppose this is possible by using Xceed's encrypt dll. does dotnetzip provides any method for this?

Kindly advise,

If I were doing this I might use the CryptoStream included in the .NET base class framework.
