Newbie -- C# and DotNetZipLib-DevKit-v1.9

Dec 14, 2009 at 8:57 PM

Cheeso,

I have been using html, css, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL and haven't used C# in over a year... I want to know what folder do I put the Ionic.Zip.dll in so I can access it in the C# development environment (e.g., the example program CreateZip.csproj)?

In Visual Studio, you must add a reference to the Ionic.Zip.dll.  It doesn't matter where the DLL Resides.

Within Visual Studio, in the Solution Explorer (right hand side), right click on the project, and then in the popup, select Add Reference...  Specify the location of the DLL file. Build, run.
